S.T.A.R stands for Success Through Accepting Responsibility or it's alternative meaning; Stop, Think, Act, and Review.

This nationally recognized and award winning program was developed by the highly acclaimed Jefferson Center for Education, located in Pasadena, CA. The S.T.A.R. program provides our instructors with an effective, ongoing and systematic method of teaching children the common values upon which the martial arts were founded: honesty, respect, responsibility, integrity, courage, tolerance, justice, self-confidence and politeness.

Personal Safety: The Tiger Academy "SAFE-DEFENSE" Program
In a real life self-defense situation, there are no rules, no time limits and no referees. Unlike Tae Kwon Do, we offer a curriculum that has been rigidly tested and proven to effectively address the realities of a real fight. Rather than distract and astound our students with an array of spectacular techniques that have little tactical value or application, we prefer to concentrate on techniques that keep children safe in the face of danger.

Head Instructor and Tiger Academy Founder Eddie Camden is an internationally recognized martial arts expert. Mr. Camden has six different Black Belts and over 30 years of martial arts experience.
